The El Dorado YMCA will be conducting its seven-year birthday bash with a number of sporting events in and around the facility Sunday.
There will be a home run derby at 1 p.m. at McDonald Stadium, while the gymnastics team will be conducting a car wash and selling shaved ice from 1-4 p.m.
The cost to enter the home run derby is $10 with 10 outs per person where any hit ball besides a home run is an out. There will be three rounds with five people in the semifinals, and two in the final.
There will also be a tailgating party in the parking lot from 4:30-6:30 p.m., where the YMCA will be selling bratwursts or hot dogs, chips and a drink for $5, with all proceeds going to the Strong Kids Campaign.
After the tailgating party, the YMCA will move the bash back to McDonald Stadium for the El Dorado Broncos game against the Park City Rangers at 7:05 p.m.
