El Dorado youth wrestlers qualify for Wichita district

ANDOVER — The El Dorado Youth Wrestling Club had 10 wrestlers place in a youth wrestling sub-district meet in Andover and will compete this weekend in a district wrestling meet in Wichita.

Five wrestlers won their divisions at the sub-district — Braden Morgan (8-Under, 80 pounds), Bryce Morgan (14-U, 95), Jacobb Burnett (12-U, 215), Austin Hughey (14-U, 125) and Caleb Wallsmith (14-U, 130).

Alex Rodgers (12-U, 105) was the only El Dorado wrestler to finish in second, while Jackson Schell (8-U, 46), Reno Hughey (12-U, 80) and Cole Reinhardt (14-U, 110) placed third. Chase Veatch (8-U, 76) and Daniel Thomas (14-U, 100) placed fourth in their divisions.
