The nearly 72 hours they re-energized the Broncos as they shut down the Gunnison (Colo.) Colts  6-1 in a Saturday first round game of the National Baseball Congress World Series.

Kirk Walker went 3-for-3 with a run and two RBIs to lead the Broncos at the plate while Charlie Lowell threw seven innings to earn the victory from the mound for El Dorado.

A full story will run in Monday’s edition of the El Dorado Times.
